Who is behind JoyShop

In 2009, I entered the world of mattresses through an unusual door: not as a retailer, but from within manufacturing. I was responsible for selling mattresses online for one of Italy's largest companies — at a time when no one bought a mattress without trying it in person first. I succeeded by spending more time in the warehouse than in the office: I learned about every material, every component, every detail that truly makes a mattress comfortable — not on paper, but with my own hands.

In 2014, I decided to go into business for myself and founded JoyShop. The years that followed were not easy. I went through very difficult periods, had to rebuild my production chain multiple times, lost important people along the way, and had to reinvent myself more than once.

In 2020, when the online mattress market changed radically — with large manufacturers starting to sell directly at half price — I learned the most important lesson of my entrepreneurial history: I couldn't compete on price. I had to compete on trust.

From there, I chose a different path: only high quality, only suppliers I know and truly trust, and a personal commitment — I evaluate every product before it reaches you. I don't sell mattresses. I sell the guarantee that someone who truly knows them has chosen them for you.

Today, JoyShop is this: a small company, managed by me personally in every aspect — from product to customer service — but with over 15 years of real technical expertise behind it. I'm not the biggest person in the industry. I'm the one who went through everything that could go wrong, and I'm still here, personally choosing every mattress I sell.
